Repairs scheduled at Glenwood Recycling and Transfer Station
Hawaiʻi County announces repairs are scheduled to begin later this week at Glenwood Recycling and Transfer Station.
Repairs are slated for between Aug. 8 and Dec. 7, resulting in some service impacts during the construction period.

A contractor will repair and replace damaged railings at the facility. Work will be done outside operating hours; however, the project will result in bay closures at times which could cause delays for users.
Recycling services also will be temporarily suspended and collection bins will be taken off-site to accommodate construction.
Residents are asked to take their recyclables to the Volcano or Keaʻau recycling and transfer stations.
