Come meet your Community Policing Officer over a cup of coffee in Kona

Hawai‘i Police Department is holding five Coffee With a Cop events in the Kona area during July in order for the public to get to know their district police officers.

These events are intentionally informal with no agenda. Topics of conversation can range from sharing personal stories to discussing neighborhood issues.

Community members are encouraged to come by to get to know their district and Community Policing Officers over a cup of coffee.

The West Hawai‘i Community Policing Coffee with a Cop events will take place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the following dates:

• July 15 at Kona Heaven Coffee, Coconut Grove Marketplace, 75-5805 Ali‘i Dr., Kailua-Kona.
• July 17 at the Kona Mountain Coffee Co., 73-4038 Hulikoa Drive, Kailua-Kona.
• July 22 at Uncle Kimo’s Coffee Shop, 76-5900 Māmalahoa Highway, Hōlualoa.
• July 24 at Kona Coffee & Tea, Kona Coast Shopping Center, 74-5588 Palani Road, Kailua-Kona.
• July 29 at Caffé Florian, 81-6637 Māmalahoa Highway, Kealakekua.
