Island Energy Services raises $100K for American Red Cross Hawai‘i Chapter
Island Energy Services raised a total of $100,000 through its 2026 Red Cross Round Up Campaign in support of American Red Cross Hawai‘i Chapter.
The exclusive licensee of the Texaco brand in Hawai‘i conducted the annual fundraising campaign from March through April in observance of Red Cross Month in Hawai‘i. Texaco customers were able to round up their purchases and make direct donations at checkout.

Waiākea Texaco in Hilo — led by Manager Lorraine “Nani” Nuesca — was the top fundraiser, raising nearly $7,500 — the largest amount among participating stations.
The Hilo station was followed by Kōloa Town Texaco in Kōloa, Kaua‘i, and Uptown Texaco in Wailuku, Maui, to round out the Top 3.
Thirty Texaco stations and two franchisees throughout the state participated.
“We are incredibly grateful to our Texaco customers, employees, franchisees and station teams across the state for helping us reach this important goal,” said Island Energy Services Chief Executive Officer Jon Mauer in a release about the fundraiser. “This campaign reflects the generosity of Hawai‘i’s communities and the strength of local partnerships. We are proud to support the American Red Cross Hawai‘i Chapter and the critical work it does for families and communities in times of need.”
Island Energy Services also increased its initial matching pledge from $20,000 to $50,000 in response to the severe back-to-back kona low storms in March.
“At the American Red Cross Hawai‘i Chapter, we rely on strong community partners like Island Energy Services, through its Texaco retail locations, to help us carry out our mission,” said American Red Cross Pacific Islands Region Regional Chief Executive Officer Molly Schmidt in the release. “We are thankful for the generosity of [Island Energy Services], Texaco customers, employees and participating station teams who came together to support communities across the state.”
Island Energy Services remains committed to supporting local organizations and initiatives that strengthen Hawai‘i’s communities while continuing to provide safe, reliable energy and critical energy infrastructure throughout the islands.
