Two West Hawai‘i beach parks remain temporarily closed for debris removal following high surf

Hawaii County Parks and Recreation Department reports that Kahalu‘u and Kohanaiki Beach Parks in Kona will remain closed on Wednesday morning until debris removal can be completed, which was caused by the recent high surf.

All other beach parks are reported open.
