UPDATE: Kahakai Boulevard/Niuhi Street intersection area reopen to all traffic

Hawai‘i Police Department reported shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, the reopening to all traffic of Kahakai Boulevard at the intersection of Niuhi Street in Hawaiian Beaches.

Motorists were previously asked to avoid the area, which was closed nearly an hour and a half, following a traffic crash. Alternate routes were fortunately available.

Hawai‘i Police Department thanks the public for its cooperation.
