The work scheduled for Tuesday, May 5, also will require the park’s closure from 4 a.m. to noon.

Residents are asked to plan for travel through the area knowing that public restrooms and amenities at the park will not be available during treatment hours.

Hawaiʻi County Department of Parks and Recreation thanks the community for its understanding as it conducts this important maintenance work.
