Free, virtual “Condorama” to cover condominium management this Saturday

Present and prospective condominium owners are invited to a virtual, educational event featuring three main speakers on intricate topics.

The Real Estate Commission, along with the Community Associations Institute Hawaiʻi Chapter, is hosting the free “Condorama XVI” event as a webinar from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 25.

Christopher Goodwin, an attorney with more than 30 years of experience representing condominiums and community associations in Hawaiʻi, will cover how to properly comply with document requests to avoid penalties from the Regulated Industries Complaints Office (RICO).

Michael E. Packard, a certified public manager, will use his more than 45 years of executive experience with condominium management firms to discuss key considerations for selecting the right management company.

Sue Savio, owner of Insurance Associates, which specializes in insuring condominiums, townhomes, and community associations, will discuss important issues related to directors and officers insurance.

The event is geared toward condominium owners and is open to the public. Registration is available on the Community Associations Institute Hawaiʻi website.

Following the presentation, a recording of the event will be made available on the Community Associations Institute Hawaiʻi website and the Real Estate Branch Condorama webpage.
