Big Island Spring Classic happening this weekend at Waikōloa Beach and Golf Resort

The Hawai‘i State Junior Golf Association will conduct the Big Island Spring Classic on April 18-19 at Waikōloa Beach and Golf Resort.

This will be a 36-hole stroke play event contested over two days. The tournament is the first HSJGA event of the year and will kick-off the HSJGA Spring Series.

The age divisions and approximate yardages are as follows:

  • 9-Hole Flight: 1,700 – 2,100 yards
  • Boys 11–12: 5,200 – 5,600 yards
  • Girls 11–12: 5,200 – 5,600 yards
  • Boys 13–14: 6,000 – 7,000 yards
  • Girls 13–14: 5,600 – 6,400 yards

Hawai‘i State Junior Golf Association is a nonprofit that introduces the game of golf and its traditions to the youth of Hawai‘i.
