We’re hoping the second uninvited guest in as many weeks — namely another kona low forecast to impact the state starting today and through the weekend — doesn’t leave its temporary lodgings of the island in tatters like its predecessor.

Instead, we want to get out of the house to find some fun because all this rain and stormy weather isn’t helping our mental health.

There are several events in this week’s top 10 that will get your toes tapping and body grooving — such as Hawaiian music, classical chords, Bob Dylan and more — another that will get you on your feet to learn about early Hawaiian agriculture as well as an opportunity to meet some of the island’s newest entrepreneurs and even an open studio featuring art made from repurposed marine debris, plastic and ghostnet.

So have a good time this weekend and beyond. Don’t let the weather weigh you down too much.

Just be safe. It also again might be good to call ahead or contact the event organizer if you want to make sure the weather hasn’t pulled the plug.

Here’s our top 10 things to do on the Big Island for March 20-26.
