Aliʻi Drive will be closed from Likana Lane to Hualālai Road with a bike safety course set up for cyclists.

Hawaiʻi Police Department Kona Community Policing Section bicycle patrol officers and Hawaiʻi Isle Police Activities League, or HI-PAL, will join to teach bike safety. Bikeworks Kona also will be on hand to ensure all bikes are safe.

PATH will also have learning bicycles available for even the youngest keiki to ride if they don’t have their own, and there will be some HIBIKE bikeshare bicycles available for those 16 years old and older to ride and brush up on bicycle safety.
