Update: Nighttime military flight operations planned again between Pōhakuloa, Kona airport, Hāwī

Update at 3:24 p.m. Nov. 7, 2025: Pōhakuloa Training Area Public Affairs is again alerting the island that nighttime helicopter flight training operations are planned.

The training will be conducted again from 8 p.m. tonight (Nov. 7) through 4 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 8) and be conducted in the area between the training camp in the saddle region of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport and Hāwī.

Training will run from 8 p.m. tonight through 4 a.m. Friday (Nov. 7).
