Keali‘i Lopez, AARP Hawa‘i State director, said: “Financial security is key if people want to live the life they choose as they age.”

The gathering will feature expert-led sessions on topics including investment adjustments for retirement, protecting against scams, tax-saving strategies, Medicare and long-term care planning, and estate management.

Organizers say the goal is to help older adults make their money last as long as they can by providing practical, easy-to-understand guidance for managing finances through every stage of aging.

“You don’t have to be an AARP member or of AARP age to attend, and we’re not
going to be selling any financial products,” added Lopez.

To register for the free seminar, residents can click here or call 877-926-8300. Please note that registration is required.
