Nearly 2 dozen wanted individuals taken into custody during sweep on Hawai‘i Island
Twenty-two wanted individuals were taken into custody during an island-wide joint law enforcement operation that lasted five days.
From June 23-27, Hawai‘i Island police worked in conjunction with the United States Marshals Service Hawai‘i Task Force, the Department of Homeland Security Investigations and the Division of Conservation and Resources Enforcement to bring these fugitives to justice, according to a press release from police this morning.

Charges ranged from assault to robbery to terroristic threatening to abuse of a family or household member.
Among those arrested was Nathan Eugene Cakin, 45, of Ocean View, who was wanted on violations of bail and involved in an hours-long standoff with law enforcement.
Also on the list was William Alan Peter Kapualoha Kaohu, 54, of Kailua-Kona, who was arrested on the strength of a federal arrest warrant for an array of drug offenses. He was released to Homeland Security Investigations custody and is currently being held at the federal detention center on O‘ahu.
The other individuals arrested include:
Matthew Akem Alani, 33, of Hilo, was charged with abuse family or household member (felony), abuse family or household member (misdemeanor) and third-degree assault. His bail was set at $30,000.
Cody Kukui Baniaga, 33, of Captain Cook, was charged with a summons arrest of defendant on probation; commitment without bail. His bail was set at $6,000.

Mark Allen Beard Sr., 63, of Ocean View, was charged with first-degree terroristic threatening. His bail was set at $2,000.
Travise Ezra Burnett, 50, of Hau‘ula, was charged with two counts summons or arrest of defendant on probation; commitment without bail. His bail was set at $10,000.
Jackie Napuaokalani Carter, 31, of Hilo, was charged with summons or arrest of defendant on probation; commitment without bail. Her bail was set at $10,000.
Francis P. Crivello Jr., 56, of Captain Cook, was charged with summons or arrest of defendant on probation; commitment without bail. His bail was set at $2,000.
Shane Antolin Dacuycuy, 48, of Mountain View, was charged with two counts of violations of conditions of release on bail, recognizance, or supervised release. His bail was set at $4,150.
Travis Demello-Oda, 29, of Hilo, was charged with summons or arrest of defendant on probation; commitment without bail, first-degree unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, two counts of second-degree theft, two counts theft of credit card, two counts unauthorized possession of confidential personal information, three counts of fraudulent use of credit card, three counts of third-degree identification theft, fourth-degree theft and two counts of third-degree theft. His bail was set at $277,000.

John Robert Fillekes Jr., 62, of Kailua-Kona, was charged with failure to appear. His bail was set at $200.
Robert Carlos Garcia, 35, of Kailua-Kona, was charged with two counts criminal contempt of court. His bail was set at $450.
Kaynan Kaliko Kobayashi-Kawelo, 22, of Kea‘au, was charged with four counts of violations of conditions of release on bail, recognizance, or supervised release. His bail was set at $13,000.
Sheldon James Macabio, 52, of Pāhoa, was charged with summons or arrest of defendant on probation; commitment without bail, second-degree forgery and third-degree theft. His bail was set at $30,000.
Raven Cheyenne Magrowski-Kutz, 25, of Kailua-Kona, was charged with criminal contempt of court. Her bail was set at $500. Additionally, she was arrested for drug offenses; however, she was released pending further investigation.
Novaluna Luna Neri, 34, of Kailua-Kona, was charged with criminal contempt of court. Her bail was set at $150.
Shari Lee Pumeha Pajimola, 40, of Kailua-Kona, was charged with violations of conditions of release on bail, recognizance, or supervised release. She was held without bail pending initial court appearance.
Jovanni Domenden Ramos, 30, of Kailua-Kona, was charged with failure to appear. His bail was set at $500.
Cyrus Kendall Reaume, 41, of Kea‘au, was charged with two counts of abuse family or household member, two counts of second-degree terroristic threatening and second-degree assault. His bail was set at $14,500.

Solomon Jhon Whitney, 40, of Hilo, was charged with two counts of summons or arrest of defendant on probation; commitment without bail. His bail was set at $10,000.
Molly Yacapin, 67, of Waimea, was charged with two counts of third-degree promoting a dangerous drug and fourth-degree promoting a harmful drug. Her bail was set at $1,000.
Lyam E.H. Zelber, 25, of Mountain View, was contacted by Puna patrol officers and later charged with summons or arrest of defendant on probation; commitment without bail, unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle, first-degree unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, second-degree unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, first-degree theft, two counts of second-degree theft, first-degree burglary, second-degree assault, first-degree terroristic threatening, deadly weapons prohibited and two counts driving without a valid driver’s license. His bail was set at $63,600.
