Man sought for questioning in connection with Puna beach incident

Hawai‘i Police Department is looking for a man wanted for questioning in connection with an ongoing investigation into a March 4 incident at a Puna beach and it is asking for the public’s help with identifying him.

An image from a cellphone video taken by the victim in the incident depicts the unidentified man walking along a Puna roadway.

He is between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9, weighs 140 to 160 pounds, Caucasian, with a short brown beard, tan complexion and short brown hair.
