Three west side beaches close after high surf

Three North Kona beaches closed today due to impact from high surf on Saturday, according to the Hawaiʻi County Civil Defense Agency.

Kahlauʻu Beach Park, Kohanaʻiki Beach Park and Mahukona Beach Park will be closed through Sunday. All other beach parks have been reported open.
