Update: Previously reported missing 39-year-old man found in Pāhoa

Update at 4:53 p.m. Nov. 12: Hawai‘i Island police report that 39-year-old Matthew James Naden, who was previously reported missing, has been located in good health in Pāhoa.

Original post at 3:19 p.m. Nov. 12: A 39-year-old man who hasn’t been seen since the morning of Nov. 12 might need medical assistance, and anyone who knows his whereabouts or has information that can lead to finding him is asked to contact Hawai‘i Island police immediately.

Matthew James Naden was last seen at 8 a.m. on Nohea Street in Leilani Estates in Puna wearing a gray shirt and dark-colored jeans.

Naden is 5-foot-11, 170 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He is known to frequent the Pāhoa area.
