Update: Runaway Brook-Taylor Sato-Lasky located

Update at 6:29 p.m. Oct. 11: The Hawai‘i Police Department reports that 17-year-old Brook-Taylor Sato-Lasky, who was previously reported as a runaway, was located Friday in good health.

Original post at 12:16 p.m. Oct. 11: Big Island police are looking for a 17-year-old runaway and want to know if you might have seen her or know where she is.

Brook-Taylor Sato-Lasky was last seen about 3 p.m. Oct. 10 in the Waiānuenue Avenue area in Hilo, wearing a soft tie-dye brown, blue and pink crop sweater with either black leggings or blue jean shorts and white sneakers or light blue Crocs.

She also often wears a small black backpack across her chest like a fanny pack.

Sato-Lasky is 5-foot-3-inches, 160 pounds and local, with a light complextion and medium build. She has shoulder-length black hair and brown eyes.
