Hawai’i Hilo Women’s Volleyball made it a 4-0 roadtrip through Northern California after wrapping up with a sweep of Jessup University, 25-18, 25-21, 25-23, Saturday in Pacific West Conference play at the Warrior Arena in Rocklin, California.

Chase Koepke led with nine kills (.227) followed by eight each from Samara Cruz (.148) and Taylor Tullo (.120), according to a Hawai‘i Hilo Volcans report.

Maya Imoto-Eakin dished out 18 assists while Emerson Reinke totaled 11. Kamryn Childs added in four blocks and Madelyn Blanford put down three aces to help the Vulcans overcome 12 service errors.

Hawai’i Hilo started strong by taking eight out of nine points to pull away from an early 5-5 tie in claiming the opening set. The second set saw the Vulcans take six of the last seven points to go up, 2-0, before outlasting a late Warriors rally in the final set to secure the sweep.

The Vulcans complete their four-game road trip with victories over Dominican (Sept. 29), Academy of Art (Oct. 1), Menlo (Oct. 3) and now Jessup.
