Crosswalk, driveway paving underway on Māmalahoa Highway near Hōlualoa Elementary

Paving of raised crosswalks and driveways of Māmalahoa Highway began Monday, with crosswalk starting in front of Hōlualoa Elementary School and driveway paving starting at Kamalani Street.

Work is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday to accommodate student pick up and drop off.

There will also be shifting lane closures during the workday.

Motorists should use caution while driving in the area and expect delays.

Flaggers will be present to guide traffic.
