The Legal Aid Society of Hawaiʻi will conduct a free legal presentation today, covering myriad of topics including foreclosures, reverse mortgages and fair housing.

The presentation is from noon to 1 p.m. at the West Hawai‘i Civic Center, located at 74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway, in the Mayor’s Conference Room B-2 on the second floor of Building B.

A light lunch will be provided to the first 20 attendees who RSVP.

“Our session last month in Hilo was well-attended, and we are hoping to offer the same information in Kona to support homeowners who may be experiencing financial hardship and facing mortgage delinquency, default and/or foreclosures,” said Scott K.D. Shishido, Hawai‘i Island managing attorney. “Staff from Legal Aid will offer a short presentation followed by a question-and-answer session.”
