10:27 a.m. May 24 update: Hawai’i Island police report that 35-year-old Helen “Lena” Jones, who was previously reported as missing, was located in Hilo today in good health.

The 35-year-old was last seen near the 1100 block of Wainuenue Avenue in Hilo, on May 20 at 11:57 p.m.

Jones, 35, is 5 feet 4 inches tall, 100 pounds with long blonde hair and blue/green eyes. She is known to frequent the Pāhoa and Kalapana areas and may need medical assistance.

Anyone with information that can assist in helping safely locate Jones, call 911 or contact the police dispatch at 808-935-3311.
