Hawai‘i Island police seek help finding teen girl

Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating 16-year-old Azlyree Butay, who was reported as a runaway.

Butay was last seen in the Ainaloa Subdivision area in Pāhoa on Tuesday at approximately 4:35 p.m. She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, and black & brown sandals.

She is Filipino, with a thin build, about 4 feet 11 inches tall, 110 pounds, with long black hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone who may have information on the whereabouts of Butay to contact the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at 808-961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
