Update: Hawai‘i Island police report that 12-year-old Kepene Burrows, who was previously reported as a runaway, was located in Pāhoa on Thursday in good health.

Kepene Burrows was last seen Tuesday morning at Hilonani Drive in Pāhoa. He was reported missing today. He was initially reported as a runaway but due to his age, he’s considered endangered.

Kepene is 4 feet 11 inches, 90 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or police dispatch at 808-935-3311.
