Hawai‘i Island police seek public help finding missing Kona man

Hawai‘i Island police seek the public’s help in locating Daniel Immonen, 40, of Kailua-Kona, who was recently reported missing by family on the mainland.

Immonen was last believed to be in the Kailua-Kona area, in April 2023. He is Caucasian with a fair complexion, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 170 pounds, with short blond hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on Immonen’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact Kona Patrol Officer Meredith Simons at the police department’s non-emergency number 808-935-3311 or via email at Meredith.Simons@hawaiicounty.gov.
