March 8 update: Hawai‘i Island police report that 12-year-old Herman Kirklin, who was previously reported as a runaway, was located in Pāhoa on March 7 in good health.
Feb. 29 update: The Hawai‘i Island police department is asking the public for their help in locating 12-year-old Herman Kirklin, who has gone missing again.
Kirklin was last seen on Lehau Street in Mountain View on the evening of Feb. 26.
The department stated Kirklin was first reported as a runaway, but due to his age, he is considered endangered.

Anyone with information that might be able to assist is asked to call 911 or police dispatch at 808-935-3311.

Herman Kirklin was last seen Friday on Volcano Road in Kea‘au at 5 p.m. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and black pants.
Herman is 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He is considered endangered because of his age.
Anyone with information on Herman’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or police dispatch at 808-935-3311.
