Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 16-year-old boy reported as a runway

John Peneku was last seen on Po‘ouli Road in Kurtistown on Feb. 16 at midnight. He is a local with a slim build and light complexion, about 6 feet 4 inches tall, 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on the teen’s whereabouts to call the department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
