Hawaiian Electric crews will be replacing two utility poles from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 20 through March 1 on Ali‘i Drive in Kailua-Kona.

The work will not require a power outage.

While the utility work is underway, one lane of Ali‘i Drive, between Hualālai and Wālua roads, will be closed. Motorists are advised to find alternate routes and plan for delays.

Traffic control personnel will be in place to direct motorists and pedestrians passing near the work area. Hawai‘i County crews and communications providers also will be working in the area.
