6:30 p.m. Feb. 8 update: Hawaii Island Police report that 71-year-old Foster Baucom, who was previously reported missing, was located in good health in Hilo.

Original post: Hawai‘i Island police seek the public’s help in finding a missing man who is considered endangered.

Foster Baucom, 71, was last seen in Pāhoa on Opelu Street on Thursday. Due to his age, authorities considered him endangered.

Baucom has brown eyes, and gray hair and is 6 feet tall and 200 pounds.

Anyone with information that can assist in helping safely locate Foster Baucom, call 911 or contact police dispatch at 808-935-3311.
