Authorities seek help finding a California man who may be on Hawai‘i Island.

Chritoph Litschke, 44, of Belmont, Calif., was last seen in the Golden State on June 19, 2023. He suffers from a medical condition that requires treatment.

Hawai‘i Island police are working with Belmont Police Department in California to find Litschke. The 44-year-old has a light complexion, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 140 pounds, with black hair and blue eyes. He may also have a beard and mustache.

Police are asking that anyone with information on Litschke’s whereabouts call the police department’s non-emergency number at 808-935-3311; or Detective Donovan Kohara at 808-960-3118; or via email at [email protected].

Citizens who wish to remain anonymous can make an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 808-961-8300 and be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers does not record any calls or subscribe to caller ID.
