Big Island police ask for help with locating 16-year-old repeat runaway

Alfred Andon

The Hawai’i Police Department is ask if anyone has seen or knows the whereabouts of 16-year-old Alfred Andon, who was reported as a runaway in early December 2023 in Hilo.

Andon was initially located Dec. 9 in good health; however, shortly after being placed in a youth residential facility later that day, he ran away again.

Andon is 5-foot-7, 120 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, a light brown complexion and a thin build. He is known to frequent the Hilo, Puna and Kona areas.
