Update at 4:54 p.m. Jan. 31: Big Island police report that 15-year-old Kingston Rikar, who was reported as a runaway, was located Jan. 29 in Pāhoa in good health. However, the teen subsequently ran away the same day, but it was not reported to police until Jan. 30.

Rikar is 5-foot-7, 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He is a Pacific Islander with a dark complexion and slim build.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Hawai‘i Police Department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.

Original post from Jan. 26: Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating 15-year-old Kingston Rikar who is reported as a runaway.

He was last seen in the area of Leisure Lane in Pāhoa on Tuesday at around noon. He is a Pacific Islander, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 130 pounds, slim build, dark complexion, short black hair, and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
