Update: Nāʻālehu man wanted for questioning in 2 criminal investigations arrested

Update at 3:48 p.m. Jan. 30: Big Island police report that 20-year-old Matthew Koi of Nā‘ālehu, who was previously wanted for an outstanding bench warrant and questioning in two other criminal investigations, was arrested just before 7 p.m. Jan. 28 in Ka‘ū after he turned himself in at the Nā‘ālehu Police Station.

The investigations Koi is thought to be involved in will be forwarded to the Hawai‘i County prosecutor’s office for review.

Original post: The Hawaiʻi Police Department is asking the public to help find 20-year old Matthew Koi of Nāʻālehu, who is wanted for questioning in two criminal investigations and also on a separate outstanding bench warrant.

Koi is 5-foot-9, 155 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He is known to frequent the Nāʻālehu area.
