Update at 12:55 p.m. Jan. 30: Big Island police report that 39-year-old Shannon Smith, who was previously reported missing, was located Tuesday in good health in Honoka’a.

Smith was last seen on Monday at 3 p.m. off Kula Kahiko Road in Upper Kalopa.

She is 5 feet 8 inches tall, 110 pounds, has strawberry-blonde colored hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion. She was last seen wearing a gray and red plaid hoodie, blue jeans and slippers.
Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
