Hawai’i Island Police are asking for the public’s help in finding Kohl Noho Ikaika Sylva, 38, of Honoka’a, who is wanted on numerous outstanding bench warrants, a warrant of arrest for a burglary, and questioning relative to several other criminal investigations.

Sylva has a thin build, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 160 pounds, with medium-length black hair and hazel eyes. He has numerous tattoos, including a shark on his left arm, tattoos on his right forearm, and “Sylva” on his back. He is known to frequent the Honoka‘a-Waipio Road area.

The Hawai’i Police Department would like to remind the public that harboring or concealing a wanted person can result in criminal charges against the person who aides the wanted person.

Police ask anyone with information on Sylva’s whereabouts to please call the department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311. They may also contact Detective Amy Omaya, of the Area I Criminal Investigation Section, at 808-961-2381 or [email protected].
