The Hilo Public Library, located at 300 Waianuenue Ave., will be closed on Tuesday to install technology upgrades to improve services to the public.

The bookdrop will remain open and patrons are invited to visit other Hawai‘i Island branches for library services.

The library will reopen for normal public service hours on Wednesday. With a library card, access to digital books, streaming movies and the New York Times is available during the closure at librarieshawaii.org.
