8:40 a.m. update on Jan. 7: Update: Nathan James Evert, 74, was found in Hilo in good health at 7:40 am. 

Original post: Hawai’i Island police are asking for the public’s help in finding 74-year-old Nathan J. Evert of Hilo, who was reported missing.

Evert is Caucasian, 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 275 pounds, with grey hair and brown eyes. No photo of Evert has been provided at this time.

He was last seen on the 700 block of Kukuau Street, Hilo on Saturday at about 10 a.m. and is possibly operating a white 2017 Lexus RC 350 2-door coupe bearing Hawai‘i license plate LHJ220.

Police ask anyone with information on Evert’s whereabouts to call the department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
