East Hawai‘i woman sought for questioning in missing person investigation

Hawai’i Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating 36-year-old Parmalee Dawn Lauch Phillips, also known as, Parmalee Lauch. She is known to frequent the South Hilo and Puna Districts.

Phillips is 5 feet 11 inches tall, 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Phillips is wanted for an outstanding criminal warrant, as well as for questioning as a witness in relation to a missing person investigation reported in May.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Phillips is asked to contact Detective Zenas Pacheco, of the Area I Criminal Investigation Division, at 808-961-2384, or email at Zenas.Pacheco@hawaiicounty.gov or the department’s non-emergency number at 808-935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
