Hawai‘i Island police seek public help finding 14-year-old boy

Hawaii Island police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Davan Kaimana Ahnee-Makekau who was reported as a runaway.

Davan was last seen in the Kealakehe area on Oct. 20 at about 9 p.m., wearing a white tank top and black sweatpants.

He is Hawaiian, 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 100 pounds, with short black hair, brown eyes, a slender build, and a medium complexion.

Police ask anyone with information on Davan Kaimana Ahnee-Makekau’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311 or email Kona Patrol Officer Joshua Stender at Joshua.Stender@Hawaiicounty.gov.
