Dec. 5 update: Hawai’i Island police report that 17-year-old Thane Leialoha, who was previously reported as a runaway, was located in Hilo today in good health.

Original post: Hawai‘i Island police is asking for the public’s help in finding 17-year-old Thane Leialoha who was reported as a runaway.

Thane was last seen in the area of the 100 block of Kalanianaole Avenue on Nov. 18 at 10 p.m., wearing a white t-shirt, khaki shorts, and crocs. He is Hawaiian, with a light brown complexion, 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, with curly black hair, and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information about Thane’s whereabouts to call Officer Kaipo Aurello at the department’s non-emergency number 808-935-3311.
