Update: Hawai‘i police have found missing 29-year-old Bria Cook-Hampton

1:20 p.m. update: Bria Cook-Hampton was located in Pahoa on Friday at 11:45 a.m. in good health.

Original post: Hawai’i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 29-year-old Bria Cook-Hampton, of Pahoa, who was reported as an endangered missing person.

Cook-Hampton was last contacted by concerned friends and family via telephone on Nov. 10 at approximately 4 a.m. from an unknown location.

Cook-Hampton is described as an African-American female, 5-feet 7-inches tall, approximately 200 pounds, with short curly black hair and brown eyes. She has multiple tattoos and piercings on her facial area. Cook-Hampton is believed to reside within the Puna District.

Police ask anyone with information about Cook-Hampton’s whereabouts to contact Detective Kimo Keliipaakaua at 808-961-2375 or via email at Kimo.Keliipaakaua@hawaiicounty.gov.
