Hawai‘i Care Choices to hosts free Health Care Talk story on dementia

Hawaiʻi Care Choices in Hilo will be hosting a free online Healthcare Talk Story on Nov. 8.

The talk will begin at 10 a.m. and is aimed at providing guidance to caregivers and loved ones of those living with dementia and Alzheimer’s.

The virtual event will be available on Zoom and Facebook Live, and will feature Lani Weigert and Tish Lopez as hosts and moderators.

Also joining the discussion will be Teepa Snow, an occupational therapist and dementia care specialist who’s the Education Director of Eastern North Carolina’s Alzheimer’s Association.
