UPDATE: Missing Hawai’i Island teen found in Mountain View Sunday

Update at 6:41 p.m.: Hawai’i Island police report that 13-year-old Shaniah Davidson, who had been reported as a runaway, was located on Sunday in Mountain View in good health. 

Original story posted at 9:23 a.m.: Hawai’i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 13-year-old Shaniah Pilialoha Davidson, who was reported as a runaway.

Due to her age she is considered a missing endangered child.
 
She was last seen on Sat., Oct. 28, at 11 p.m. on Heno Street in the Volcano area, wearing a black sweater with a faded yellow snake on the front, black shorts, black sandals, and a black and white Air Jordan backpack.
 
Davidson is described as local with a tan complexion, 5-feet 1-inches tall, 120 pounds, with long dark brown hair, brown eyes and having a large beauty mark on her left knee.
 
Police ask anyone with information about Davidson’s whereabouts to call Officer Taylor Cruz at the police department’s non-emergency number (808) 935-3311 or 911 immediately.
