ALERT: Avoid Alii Drive in Kailua-Kona for the next 2 hours due to a brush fire

The Hawai’i Police Department said a brush fire, near the 2 mile marker in Kona, has closed Ali’i Drive for the next few hours.
A brush fire near Lunapule Road and Royal Poinciana Drive and will require a detour of traffic for the next 2 hours.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
Members of the Hawai’i Police the Hawai’i Fire Department are on scene.
