Hawai’i Island police have arrested and charged 60-year-old Troy Ashley Young of Kea’au with sexual assault of an 88-year-old female family member who is mentally incapacitated.
The reported incident occurred on Thursday afternoon at a residence on 35th Avenue in Orchidland Estates.
Young was charged Friday evening with second-degree sexual assault. His bail was set at $10,000.

Young remains in custody and is scheduled to make his initial court appearance on Monday at 1:30 p.m. in Hilo District Court.
