Akolea Road in Hilo is now open, following its closure due to a traffic accident.
Original post: A vehicle crash has closed Akolea Road between Waianuenue Avenue and Haleloke Street and will require a detour of traffic for the next 3 hours.
Motorists are advised to detour around the area using Kaumana Drive.
