Update: Transgender man previously reported as missing found in Rhode Island

Update at 3:18 p.m. Sept. 2: Big Island police reported Sept. 2 that 48-year-old Reign Walker of Hilo, who was previously reported as missing, was located. Walker was found Saturday in Rhode Island and is in good health.

Original story: Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating 48-year-old Reign Walker, of Hilo, who was reported as missing.

Walker was last seen on May 19 in Hilo. Walker was born a biological female; however, is reportedly in the process of transitioning to a male.

He is described as being approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, having hazel eyes, a light complexion, average build, long black hair, with clean cut facial hair and female-like features.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
