Hawai‘i Department of Transportation announced the lane closure schedules for the week of Aug. 26 to Sept. 1. Closures may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.

KEA‘AU

Single lane closure on Māmalahoa Highway (Route 11) between mile post 7 and 9, in the vicinity of Old Volcano Road and North Road, on Monday, Aug. 28, through Friday, Sept. 1, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for vegetation cutting.

MOUNTAIN VIEW

Single lane closure on Māmalahoa Highway (Route 11) between mile post 13 and 14, fronting Mountain View Elementary School, on Monday, Aug. 28, through Friday, Sept. 1, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for installation of permanent striping on the speed hump at Mountain View Elementary School.

MOUNTAIN VIEW

Single lane closure on Māmalahoa Highway (Route 11) between mile post 14.16 and 14.37, in the vicinity of South Lauko Road and North Lauko Road, on Monday, Aug. 28, through Friday, Sept. 1, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for installation of permanent striping on the speed hump at Mountain View Aloha Gas Station.

MOUNTAIN VIEW

Single lane closure on Māmalahoa Highway (Route 11) between mile post 14.39 and 14.47, in the vicinity of North Lauko Road and Mountain View Park, on Monday, Aug. 28, through Friday, Sept. 1, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for installation of permanent striping on the speed hump at Mountain View Post Office.

Single lane closure on Māmalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile post 48 and 49, on Monday, Aug. 28, through Friday, Sept. 1, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for vegetation cutting.

Single lane closure on Māmalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile post 101.19 and 101.33, on Monday, Aug. 28, through Friday, Sept. 1, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for installation of permanent striping on the speed hump at Ho‘okena Elementary School.

Single lane closure on Māmalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile post 105.69 and 105.87, on Monday, Aug. 28, through Friday, Sept. 1, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for installation of permanent striping on the speed hump at Honaunau Elementary School.

Single lane closure on Kuakini Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between Māmalohoa Highway and Kuakini Highway, on Monday, Aug. 28 through Friday, Sept. 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for construction on Kuakini Highway Drainage Improvements.
