3.2 magnitude earthquake strikes near Pāhala on the Big Island

A 3.2 magnitude earthquake struck 8.3 miles south-southeast of Pāhala on the Big Island at 9:15 p.m. on Saturday.

Only one person sent a “felt report” to the U.S. Geological Survey in the first half hour of the earthquake.

It was at a depth of 18.2 miles.
