As a company rooted in Hawai‘i and committed to supporting its communities, Genki Sushi is rallying to come to the aid of those affected by the devastating and deadly wildfires on Maui. The restaurant invites everyone to join in the effort.

“Our Hearts are heavy as we watch and process what has become of Lāhainā town and the devastation caused by the recent fires in Maui,” the company said. “Our community has suffered an overwhelming loss that will change our state forever. The spirit of resilience runs strong through the people of Maui, and now, they need our help more than ever.”

Genki Sushi is donating $50,000 to the Hawai‘i Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund. It also will be donating every month for the rest of the year to support the wildfire relief and recovery efforts.

Those who want to contribute to the Maui Strong initiative can also make a donation, no matter the size, that will help rebuild lives, homes and hope.
