Big Island police seek missing Pāhala teen

Melo Keohuloa

Big Island police are asking the public for assistance with locating 16-year-old Melo Keohuloa of Pāhala, who was reported as a runaway. She was last seen at 7 a.m. Aug. 8 in the Pāhala area.

Keohuloa is described as Asian-Filipino, 5-foot-3, 110 pounds, with shoulder-length black and red hair and brown eyes. She has a tattoo of the word “bound” on either her right or left wrist.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the Hawai‘i Police Department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311 or Officer Rodney Kekaualua Jr. at 808-939-2520.
